The failed tank is pumped and inspected so the replacement is quoted from what is seen. The permit is filed with the county environmental health office, with the new tank sized to the bedroom count. The drain field is inspected honestly before the new tank is connected to it. The new tank, precast concrete or polyethylene depending on access and groundwater, is set level with risers to grade and inlet and outlet connected. The old tank is pumped, crushed and filled, or removed. The county inspects before backfill and the record is closed. Financing through Hearth is available.
