Much of World Golf Village irrigates from reclaimed water, so private wells are the exception rather than the rule, and the covenants have views on where a wellhead can stand and what it can look like. Where a lot is outside the reclaimed system, an irrigation well is permitted through the county health department like any other and sited to satisfy both the setback rule and the HOA.
The older acreage on the fringes of the development is on supply wells, and those are Floridan wells with the sulfur and hardness that come with them.
