What changes in Fruit Cove
Fruit Cove turns over houses faster than almost anywhere in the county, and a new supply well on the acreage off State Road 13 is drilled with the next closing in mind: cased and grouted through the clay, completion report filed with the county health department, and a laboratory test on file so a lender's request is answered before it is made.

The permit is filed with the county office, or the City of Jacksonville in Duval, before the rig is booked. The bore is drilled, cased, grouted, developed until it runs clear and tested for yield. The pump, pitless adapter and pressure tank are sized to that yield and to the demand. The well is disinfected, the completion report is filed and a sample goes to a certified laboratory before anyone drinks from it.
