Well drilling in Hilliard, deep enough to ignore the flatwoods water table

Every new well is designed before it is drilled: purpose, demand, depth to the water that suits it, casing through the clay where the bore goes to the Floridan, and the setback from any septic system on the lot or next door. The permit is filed with the county office, or the City of Jacksonville in Duval, before the rig is booked. The bore is drilled, cased, grouted, developed until it runs clear and tested for yield. The pump, pitless adapter and pressure tank are sized to that yield and to the demand. The well is disinfected, the completion report is filed and a sample goes to a certified laboratory before anyone drinks from it.
